scent of plum blossoms

on the misty mountain path

a big rising sun --

Suffice to say that i find this image immensely -- evocative --- the image in my mind is that of saffron-clad Buddhist monks in a temple as old as the hills, ringing a deep gong , to welcome the sunrise while pilgrims from afar walk up the mountain paths through a carpet of fallen Cherry blossoms..........
