the lyrics to this Prabhati = Morning song are truly inspired , ( me thinks) ....it describes the USHA KAAL = THE TIME OF DAWN .........thus........


1st Stanza :

2nd stanza :
" Ushane aanchal felaya " = the Dawn spreads its warm shroud = ( aanchal is such a typical Indian word that it defies a literal translation as it is the outside end of a saree , usually worn by an Indian Mother figure - so typifies ' Vatsalya bhaav ' = motherly love ) [ i'm trying to find a better word then the word - -- 'shroud' but choose this one as it conjures up memories of The Shroud of Turin , like the simple shroud covering Jesus Christ but U guys can suggest something else & I'll b grateful )

" = [ The Light ( eternal ) is Mother ( Yashoda ) ( she can be Mary the mother of Jesus too ) - the Earth the Cow ( symbol of her nurturing/ life giving attributes , & the meekest & most docile among all four legged animals ) = as in Greek mythology Earth is often called = GAIA ) - the BLUE SKY is KRISHNA ( OUR BELOVED = ( THE DIVINE SUPREME POWER ) GOD ALMIGHTY - & The Life giving Necter flows from our SUN " = Jyoti Kalsh Chalke !

4th stanza :
" Paat Paat Birva Hariyaala, dharti ka mukh hua Ujala, Mangal ghat dhalke, Jyoti Kalash chalke " ---
[ Every leaf = ( paat is a leaf ) in its greenery = ( Hariyala ) onfiltered= ( BIRVA means a small shrub or bush ) ( Again a symbol like the burning BUSH which MOSES saw on Mt. Sinai as the DIVINE manifested ) is drenched ( with this life force ) -- the Earth is resplendant in her unbridled JOY as the Life Giving = ( Mangal = is again such an Indian word which means Pious or SHUBH Karta = which means, THAT which brings on Good Luck & then, perpetuates and sustains it ) SUN the pious / Life Giving Force containg the RAYS as if in a POT ( MANGAL -GHAT ) ~~ flows ,= ( empties it on us ) & The Life giving Necter flows from our SUN " = Jyoti Kalash Chalke !
