An Indian Bride being dressed up by an Elder Female for the Wedding

Did You know that my amma = Sushila was dressed in a ghaghra , full Chunri & a Blouse entirely made up of tiny Chameli & Juhi Flowers ??
On her wedding nite ---- amma told me that in her white Juhi ke tiny white flowers ki Kali ka blouse the buttons were made of tiny pink Roses !!!

Her Chunri was also made up of Chameli = Jasmine flowers with Red Roses sewn on border all around with silver Gota --- the bangles / Kangan -- were made up of Rose buds & Chameli & a HAAR = necklace & even earings were made of real flowers !! ;--)))

I used to dream of wearing such an out fit ----- ;-))

Amma had made something similer ---- --------------- Flowers ke Earing, Bangle, Haar = necklace for Raj Kapoor's daughter Ritu on her Sangeet Nite ...........

[ she is Amitabh Bacchan's daughter SHWETA's Mom - in -law now -- and they r Samdhis ]

Ritu was going to be dressed in heavy jewelery on her wedding Eve. So amma asked Bhabhiji = Mrs. Krishna Raj Kapoor to have Ritu -- wear just a Saffron color ki plain soft & , thin chiffon ki sari & a plain sleeve less blouse ...No Jewelery & Amma put the Real Flowers ke Gehne that she had made herself on her .........

I tell you thousands of Baratis , the entire Film Industry who was present asked who dressed Ritu like this ?? She looked more beautiful & Simple & elegant like an APSARA from our Puranic tales !! ;-)

She is the most gorgeous Idian Bride that I've ever seen in my entire life !!!
Whoweeee .....................what memories I have !!
